Title: Back from the Break — With Even More to Offer

By Tahara DeBarrows, LMFT

I took a brief pause from newsletters after May. This time was not about disappearing but about refocusing. Since then, I’ve been growing my practice and engaging with the community. I am also offering new resources that reflect my mission: to make healing more accessible and impactful.

What’s New in My Practice

Here’s what’s new:

✅ I’ve welcomed new therapists to the practice.

✅ I hosted a CE-accredited webinar with Tava Health on burnout and compassion fatigue.

✅ I’ve launched new digital mental health worksheets on Payhip — perfect for therapists, clients, and wellness coaches.

✅ I now offer clinical supervision packages for pre-licensed professionals looking to grow in a supportive, values-driven space.

Commitment to Connection and Community

This year, I’m doubling down on what matters: connection, community, and culturally responsive care. You can expect more webinars, podcast episodes, and tools to help you heal, grow, and thrive.

Expanding Resources for Mental Health

As part of my commitment to making mental health resources more accessible, I have developed a range of new offerings. These include worksheets that cover various topics, such as stress management, self-care, and emotional regulation. They are designed to be user-friendly and beneficial for both professionals and individuals seeking support.

Engaging with the Community

Engagement with the community is vital. I believe that mental health is a collective journey. Therefore, I am actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with local organizations. This allows us to reach more people and provide support where it is needed most.

Upcoming Webinars and Workshops

I am excited to announce a series of upcoming webinars and workshops. These sessions will cover important topics in mental health, including coping strategies for anxiety and depression. They will also focus on self-care practices that can enhance overall well-being. Stay tuned for more details!

The Importance of Cultural Responsiveness

Culturally responsive care is essential in today’s diverse society. I am committed to providing services that respect and honor each individual's unique background. This approach ensures that everyone feels seen and heard in their healing journey.

Conclusion: A New Chapter Begins

Thanks for sticking with me. I’m back — and I’m just getting started. Together, we can create a supportive environment that fosters healing and growth. Let’s embark on this journey together, making mental health a priority for all.
